What this site collects.

Short version: this site sets no cookies, runs no advertising or cross-site tracking, and stores nothing that identifies you. The detail below is the notice required by Article 13 GDPR.

Analytics
Visitor statistics come from Umami, on its EU-hosted service. It is used because it is the least invasive option that still answers “did anyone read this”.
- No cookies are set, and nothing is written to your browser’s storage.
- Your IP address is used in the moment of the request to derive a country and a rotating, salted, non-reversible visitor hash. The IP itself is not stored, and the hash cannot be linked back to you or followed across days.
- What is kept is aggregate: page views, referring site, country, browser and device type, and clicks on the two email links.
- There is no profiling, no cross-site tracking, no advertising network, and no data is sold or shared beyond the processor named above.
Legal basis: legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) in knowing whether the site works. Because no cookie or similar technology is placed on your device and no personal data is stored, no consent banner is required.
If you email me
Your message, your address, and whatever you tell me about your project are kept so I can reply and, if we work together, so there is a record of what was agreed. Legal basis: taking steps at your request prior to a contract, and performance of that contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), or legitimate interest in answering correspondence. Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted after two years.
Hosting
The site is served by Cloudflare. As host it necessarily processes the IP address of every request in transit and keeps short-lived security and abuse logs. No account, form, or database exists on this site.
Your rights
You can ask for access to, correction of, or erasure of any personal data held about you, ask that processing be restricted or objected to, and ask for a copy in portable form. One email to the address above is enough, and there is no charge. Because the analytics hold no personal data, in practice such a request only concerns correspondence.
If you are not satisfied with how a request is handled, you can complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit / Autorité de protection des données), Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussels. gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be.
Changes
If what the site collects changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top moves.
